It's a new book by Haley Kilpatrick and Whitney Joiner, and according to this Salon post it is "a plainspoken set of dispatches from the front lines of tweenhood, culled from three years of interviews with girls around the country and framed in their own quirky, authentic voices."From reading the Salon interview, it sounds like an interesting read--and a helpful tool for MG writers.

That sounds like a really interesting/helpful read. I think it's one of the reasons that I love YA Confidential so much too. Getting details about teen life now right from the mouths of teens is invaluable. This feels like it would be equally useful.
